ABOUT ME

"My family has been Chelsea for 4 generations and my first live game was Chelsea v Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge in 1970. That was a successful Chelsea team and in April of that year they beat Leeds Utd in the FA Cup final and Real Madrid in the European Cup Winners Cup the following year. For the next decade things went horribly wrong in south-west London and we bounced up and down between the First and Second Divisions. Some of the best fun I had was travelling to away games and I was at Blundell Park with my friend Jock in May 1983 to watch Pat Nevin score the winner against Grimsby Town that took Chelsea back to the First Division.

Around this time I also discovered my passion for travel and in November 1985 took a one way flight to India commencing close to a decade of world travel. No internet and little news from home meant that following Chelsea was all but impossible and I lost touch with the game. I finally settled in Toronto, Canada which is where I live today.

My passion for football and travel remains strong and I spend several months a year in some part of this amazing world learning about new cultures and watching football.

I hope you enjoy sharing some of my experiences with me."
